Unzi Martin Johnson Bob

Digital Media & Marketing Officer

Unzi Martin is a seasoned Project Management practitioner with 14 years of experience in education, training, and humanitarian projects for NGOs in South Sudan, including work with CARD, IBIS South Sudan, GIZ, Across, and ADCORD.

Since 2019, he has provided freelance consultancy in education (curriculum and policy development, institutional capacity building), community development (social justice, community empowerment), training (content development, facilitation), management (project and organizational capacity development), private sector (entrepreneurship mentorship, business training), and marketing (strategy development, social media, and market analysis).

Unzi Martin holds a BA in Education from Makerere University and an MA in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University.

Gire Joy Babu

Administrative/Finance Officer

Gire Joy is a dynamic financial professional with 6 years demonstrated excellence in overseeing and enhancing financial operations, streamlining financial processes, and generating comprehensive financial statements. She is well described for her meticulous attention to financial details.
Over the years, Gire Joy has gained hands-on experience in administrative tasks that she has fused very well with her financial profession as a result of her exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities that make her to thrive easily in collaborative team environments.
She also provides freelance financial consultancy services to non-governmental organizations, institutions, and business across the country.
Gire Joy holds Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Makerere Institute of Social Development in Uganda. She is also a holder of Certificate in Business Administration from Makerere Business School in Uganda. She is currently pursuing Bachelor degree in Business Administration at Nkumba University in Uganda.

John Deng Akech

Senior Agronomist and Business Development Advisor

John Deng is an experienced agronomist with experience spanning 6 years. He worked with Green Belt Initiative – GBI, a national NGO as an FSL project officer in Northern Bhar El Ghazal, and he also worked with Agramondis, a consultancy firm based in the UK as a national analyst in a project strengthening access to Market Information on Cereals and Oil seed crops.
He is passionate to use agriculture as a tool to improve people’s livelihood to transform their lives. He strongly believes that for farmers to benefit from agriculture, they must turn it into a viable and sustainable business. In 2022, this passion led him to establish singlehandedly Taharir Organic Farms – South Sudan where he serves as a CEO to date. He also provides freelance consultancy services in Agribusiness and Livelihoods.
John Deng is a holder of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Crop Science from Makerere University in Uganda. He is currently pursuing Certificate of Advanced Studies in Integrated Crop Management from Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International – CABI.

Unzima Justine Scopass Wurute

Senior Business Development Advisor

Unzima Justine is an Agribusiness Specialist with over 12 years of experience in agri-enterprise development and WASH value chain enhancement. He has worked with entrepreneurs across various growth stages to build sustainable businesses in agriculture and WASH. With a strong understanding of market dynamics and extensive experience with NGOs and local government, he has consulted for organizations including DT Global, Malteser International, NIRAS, and Mott MacDonald.

Unzima is the founder of AMO Farms in Uganda and a founding member of Premium Agro Consult Co. Ltd, where he serves as Senior Business Development Advisor. His expertise has been pivotal in developing proposals, implementation plans, and accountability systems, contributing to the company’s growth. He is currently pursuing a BSc in Agribusiness Management at Kenya Methodist University, following a Diploma in Agribusiness Management.

Denis Kenyi Benaiah Poggo

Senior Technical Advisor

Denis Poggo brings over 20 years of expertise in agriculture, market systems development, trade facilitation, and microfinance. He has worked with various UN agencies, international and national organizations, and private companies, with experience spanning fragile and developmental contexts. His focus includes institutional capacity development, adult education, policy analysis, and strategic planning, blending academic rigor with hands-on experience.

As a founding partner of Premium Agro Consult Co. Ltd (PAC), his innovative approach has strengthened PAC’s success in assignments across applied research, business, and entrepreneurship, particularly for women and youth.

Denis is also a founding member of the Rural Finance Initiative (RUFI), a microfinance institution in South Sudan and Uganda. A Chevening Scholar, he holds a Master’s in Resource Management from the University of Edinburgh (UK), a BSc in Agriculture, and a post-graduate diploma in International Environmental Law.

Nyara Emmanuel Elly

Business Development Manager

Nyara Emmanuel specializes in Animal Production and Management, with 13 years of experience as a development and humanitarian practitioner in South Sudan. He has worked in diverse roles with organizations like GIZ, Across, IBIS, Mott MacDonald BV, and Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

As a founding partner of Premium Agro Consult Co. Ltd (PAC), he has led numerous consultancy projects, working with clients such as Stitching SPARK, WPDI, NIRAS Finland, Palladium BV, and UNDP. In 2022, he was appointed as PAC’s Business Development Manager for his strong work ethic and commitment.

In addition to his role at PAC, Nyara established a large agribusiness enterprise in Yei River County, featuring an agri-input shop, commercial poultry, and piggery farm, which launched him into agribusiness consultancy. Holding a diploma in Animal Production & Management, he is also pursuing a BSc in Agribusiness Management at Kenya Methodist University.
